ThinkTank Learning from the Past, Learning for the Future In our second installment of the ThinkTank Series, the ICG offers conductors a
space for reflection, conversation, and ideation. Saturday's first session, with Dr. Rufus Jones, Jr., and Dr. Aaron Flagg, will lead a conversation about the extraordinary talent, courage, and determination of Charles Dean Dixon, and the racism he faced in orchestras across the United States. Dr. Rufus Jones, Jr. will share context from his powerhouse book:

Our second session is led by Dr. Michael Mauskapf, Assistant
Professor of Management at Columbia University's Business School. Professor Mauskapf holds doctorates in both musicology and business, and will lead an interactive session about transforming your orchestra into a hub for innovation through entrepreneurship guided by the Business Model Canvas. Dr. Mauskapf has included some pre-conference homework for our delegates:
