Subject :Donald Schleicher Conducting Workshop, Lake Geneva, WI: May 19-22, 2022
Conductors will have the chance to learn from Donald Schleicher, as well as have the unique opportunity to see him rehearse and perform with the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra. The LGSO is a community orchestra made up of volunteers, so a special focus in discussions throughout the workshop will explore what this means both in and out of rehearsals. The workshop will feature masterclass and discussion components in addition to many conducting opportunities and podium time. Conductors will have at least 45 minutes of podium time over the course of the 4 days with a sextet (string quintet plus piano) and full orchestra.
